About Our Facility

Our purpose-built culinary education centre houses three fully equipped teaching kitchens, a demonstration theatre with tiered seating for 40, and a private dining space for group events.

The facility was designed specifically for hands-on learning, with individual workstations, professional-grade equipment, and overhead mirrors that let every student see technique demonstrations clearly.

We are proud to be an accessible venue with step-free access throughout, accessible facilities, and hearing loop systems in our demonstration theatre.

Finding Us

By Public Transport

Bristol Temple Meads railway station is a 15-minute walk from our facility, or a short bus ride on routes 8, 8A, or 9. The nearest bus stop is Harbour Lane, directly outside our building.

From the station, walk north along Victoria Street, turn left onto Baldwin Street, then continue straight as it becomes Broad Quay and follow the harbourside to Harbour Lane.

By Car

We do not have dedicated parking, but several public car parks are within walking distance. The closest are Millennium Square car park (3-minute walk) and Prince Street car park (5-minute walk). Both offer evening and weekend rates.

By Bicycle

Secure bicycle parking is available on the harbourside directly outside our building. Bristol's cycle network makes reaching us by bike straightforward from most areas of the city.

What to Expect on Arrival

Our reception area is on the ground floor. For scheduled courses, please arrive 10 minutes before your session begins to complete registration and get settled.

All course fees include ingredients, equipment use, aprons, recipe cards, and take-home containers for what you prepare. Refreshments are provided during sessions. You need only bring yourself, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and an appetite for learning.

Yes. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking. We make appropriate ingredient substitutions and take precautions to prevent cross-contamination. Some courses focus specifically on dietary-specific cooking such as gluten-free baking or plant-based cuisine.

Cancellations made seven or more days before your course receive a full refund. Within seven days, we offer credit toward future courses rather than refunds. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer your booking to another person at no additional charge.
